Want to master a red lip look – Mikey Phillips is on hand to help!
I’m not very adventurous with my make up, so when it comes to TV and photoshoots I always just ask for nude tones and a bit of contouring. I’m so lucky that the absolute make up god, Mikey Phillips (@makeupbymikey), is one of my best friends as well as my regular hair stylist and make up artist. He knows exactly which brands and colours work best for my face. So when a shoot director wants me to wear red lipstick, Mikey is on hand to make sure that it works for me and I am so grateful for that as I find red lipstick totally terrifying. I know lots of you find red lipstick daunting too and I have learned from Mikey the make up that you wear on your face has to compliment the lip colour for it to look more Hollywood glam and less Halloween ghoul!
Mikey has kindly put together a product list for me to share with you guys so that you can have a go at recreating this amazing look that he did on me for the cover of The Times Magazine.
