Rebekah Vardy is a Mum to 5 children who range in age from a 1 year old through to an almost 16 year old. She is married to footballer, Jamie Vardy, and the couple enjoy a quiet life in the countryside along with their children, dogs and chickens.
Rebekah was a contestant in the 2021 series of Dancing on Ice on ITV and was partnered with pro skater, Andy Buchanan. She also took part in the 2017 series of I’m A Celebrity….Get Me Out of Here, made multiple appearances as a panellist on ITV’s Loose Women and discussed causes that really matter to her on This Morning and Good Morning Britain.
Rebekah has turned her hand to writing in the past and had her own weekly parenting and pregnancy column in OK! Magazine and blogged for the Huffington Post. She has also worked with many magazines including; Tatler, Grazia, YOU Magazine, Fabulous, The Sunday Times Magazine, Hello, OK! and many more.
Rebekah is an advocate for an outdoor lifestyle, she grows her own fruit and vegetables and enjoys countryside walks as well as practising yoga. She has has a keen personal interest in travel, fitness, yoga, healing crystals as well as a passion for travel, fashion and beauty.
Rebekah is half Portuguese and keen for her children to grow up appreciating both their Mediterranean and English heritages. In addition to her home life and media work, Rebekah is also a Family Ambassador to children’s charity, Barnardo’s along with her husband, Jamie and is one of the founding donors of Not Beyond Redemption, a charity providing legal aid to Mother’s in prison and their families on the outside.
The topics that Rebekah really cares about include; parenting, severe internet trolling, child abuse, domestic abuse, body positivity and mental health. She has raised awareness over the importance of smear tests and her own social media and press campaign saw a national raise in the number of women booking their smear tests.
Rebekah does not shy away from sharing her own life experiences such as; surviving CSA, being made homeless at the age of 15, a teenage suicide attempt, domestic abuse, depression and anxiety, as well as post natal depression. In the past Rebekah as openly discussed her past personal choices with cosmetic surgery and non cosmetic procedures, she certainly isn’t afraid to share her stories or her opinions and hopes that her own honesty can help others who may find themselves in similar positions.
